My Dr. Appt. caution ugly foot pictures included

Yesterday~ I had a moment of brilliance... I charged up my ipod and then when we went my Dr. appt. I let Shane listen-- Awww it was Joyful...simply joyful to have him calm and still-- --but notice he is on his tummy for good sensory input... his sandals are off so that he can feel free and he is focused!    So, much that when they called us --Jerry had to tap Shane on the shoulder quite a few times to get his shoes on and his body moving!

Here is Miss Jessica giving me some love and attention-- she is so loving with me..

And now..... if you are queasy or squirmy I suggest you not look below---
Jerry took pictures of my foot... and I figured that since they are already on FB.... having them on here wouldn't be any worse.
My foot does not FEEL like it looks.... it really doesn't hurt much... unless I bump it, or someone else bumps it.

So, the Dr. said my foot was extreme and that it was mobile in ways it shouldn't be--- so he shortened two of my toes, to help my foot/toes lay like they should ... he also worked alot to get my big toe back to where it should be-- this took more than one procedure.-- The Dr. assures me that this will be my last foot surgery ...!!!! Yahooo!  I will eventually have a useful foot.... not pretty or in a race to model-- but useful and after having this foot issue for many, many years ...
I am very happily waiting for when,  I can have a foot that is useful and not painful.

Caution  UGLY foot pictures to follow:

I was supposed to get a walking boot, but the Dr will have to give that to me next time~  after he takes the boot home to modify it specially for me...
I am choosing to look at this,  as his way of making me my own  personal walking boot.

Oh Stacy, it looks so horrible. I find it hard to believe that you;'re not writhing in pain :(
I discovered the jopys of my mp3 player while grocery shopping a few months ago. the most peaceful shopping trip I had ever had.

Holy **** Stacy!

That foot is downright scary and looks very painful.

Hope it gets better soon.

I must admit a bit of a shock at the photo, too - was this surgery optional as someone above implied? For a bunion? Or did someone drive over your foot?

You, however, look very good in the photo with Jessica. I can read how much you are struggling in the post above this. Hang in there! Pray and read the Bible, eh?

Hugs, Barbara
