Isaiah 43 18-19 (New International Version)
18 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up: do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland
I hope this verse will serve to be my guide in the New Year~
I have a meeting with the teacher and staff-- on Monday-- to talk about the level 3 that Shane got on the last day of school before the break and also to discuss his Instructional Assistant... and their role in the classroom--
I have to take the kids with me since Jerry will be working
and I hope that the kids will listen in as usual... and
"assimilate" (did I use that in it's correct context?)
what the goals are for the New Year...
I am glad the kids are home with me-- but I wish that Jerry could be enjoying time with them also-- he leaves before they are awake and then he comes home a bit before their bedtime. I don't know how the single mom's do it-- I get frustrated that Jerry is away from us for only 12hours a day-- 4 days a week....
It's kinda cold but not snowing... just wet and drippy-- not really rain-- but more like melting water from the trees. I 'd really like some snow!
