My eight year old needs bi-focals!
I don't know what to think about this~
The Dr. says she may after a time of wearing glasses, out grow them.
I love my kids, but I have to say that Jessica is becoming mighty expensive!
good thing, the kids are... Not for Profit, but for Joy....
where is that darn Joy.... I've been lookin and lookin, ooops I guess I need to look closer?
Ah, yes, I see the Joy now-- I do Love my kids!

My question is why does she need them? Have you considered vision therapy? I just went to a meeting about vision therapy--very interesting stuff. Most children who *need* glasses can greatly benefit from it and reduce their need for glasses. Check out therapysolutionsforkids.com or Foley Vision. They do take some insurance. Hassle, sure, pricey, maybe, but so worth it, in my opinion.
It's always something isn't it. I am amazed at how many 8 year olds have braces already! I asked the dentist (oh, yes we are going to need them) and at least he said not yet. We have the glasses-thing going too!
